UNSW’s standing as one of the world’s leading universities has been further strengthened as it consolidates its top 50 position in the QS World University Rankings. In individual subject areas, UNSW continues its rise in Engineering and Technology – up six places from last year to 21 in the World. Also ranked 21 in the World is Social Sciences and Management. Arts and Humanities has jumped 10 places to 41 and Life Sciences and Medicine has jumped four to 43 in the World.

UNSW Location
The main UNSW campus is located on a 38 hectare site at Kensington, seven kilometres from the centre of Sydney. Other major campuses are Art & Design in Paddington and UNSW Canberra at the Australian Defence Force Academy. Sydney is the biggest city in Australia with a population of 4.5 million.
